HOLLAND & BARRETT LAUNCHES NEW MARKET-LEADING BARISTA ‘H&Bean’ IN LONDON, VICTORIA STREET

  • H&Bean will feature a brand-new range of unique barista-made beverages designed using the latest health and wellness trending ingredients
  • Takeaway coffee and teas will be trialled at Holland & Barrett’s Victoria Street, London

The UK’s leading wellness retailer, Holland & Barrett will trial a new market-leading H&Bean service in London, Victoria Street.

The takeaway service will feature a brand-new range of unique, delicious signature tea and coffees, hand-made by Holland & Barrett baristas. Each drink has been created to mirror the latest trending health and wellness ingredients with scientifically backed benefits. These benefits include focusing on supporting customer’s skin health, women’s health, brain health and relaxation.

With prices starting at £3, highlights from the 17-strong range featuring hot and iced drinks include:

  • Calm Latte – Relax - £4.50. A grassy, sweet and nutty drink, combining matcha, coconut milk, ashwagandha and vitamin B3 to support energy levels, and reduced tiredness and fatigue.
  • Beauty Within Latte – Glow - £4.50. With earthy flavours mixed with espresso and coconut, this coffee infuses espresso, blue pea flower, coconut milk, tremella, collagen, selenium, vitamin A and inulin to support strong hair and skin, protect against cell damage and support the normal production of collagen.
  • Digest Tea with ACV - £3. Offering delicious aromatic and ginger flavours, with a sweet fresh apple finish, this tea mixes H&B Apple Cider Vinegar with a digestive support tea bag.

Rachel Chatterton, Head of Food and Beverage Development at Holland & Barrett commented, “Our team of experts have been hard at work to bring to market a unique range of drinks with benefits that’s backed by science and nutrition. With the healthier coffee market growing, we’re excited to bring this new offering to the market as an on the go drinks option for customers. This also offers a great entry point for our customers to trial products and experience their benefits, with all ingredients used in the new range available to be purchased for use at home.”

The range is made with H&B’s Bespoke House Coffee Blend, organic and sourced from Peru, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Each drink includes only natural and clean ingredients, including steamed plant-based milks, and no artificial/sugar additives. For those that want something sweeter, there’s also a natural sweetener and Manuka honey on offer, as well as the option to add Lions Mane, Tremella, or Espresso to any drink.

This trial follows Holland & Barrett’s most significant food transformation in a decade, marked by the launch of the campaign 'Food That Loves You Back.'

The new H&B food range presents customers with foods tailored to specific wellness needs or specialised diets. Crafted by H&B's expert nutritionists, chefs, and in-house specialists, these offerings address key aspects such as gut health and skin health. From wholesome foods to nutritious snacks and pantry staples, the range seamlessly complements customers' weekly grocery shopping, providing simple, health-packed alternatives. Holland & Barrett takes the lead as the first major high-street retailer to introduce 'Plant Points' on food labelling, encouraging customers to incorporate a diverse range of at least 30 different plants weekly for comprehensive well-being.

Holland & Barrett’s H&Bean trial will launch on Wednesday 17th July at Holland & Barrett, Victoria Street, London (86 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 5JL).
