Holland & Barrett has secured a £25m revolving credit
facility from Barclays, further strengthening its long-standing relationship
with the bank and supporting its next phase of the business’ growth
journey.
The facility provides additional financial flexibility as
Holland & Barrett continues to invest in its customer-first transformation
strategy, spanning digital and technology, product innovation, store
development and colleague capability. It also reflects the strong momentum of
the retailer, following sustained growth in revenue, customer numbers and
profitability in recent years.
Holland & Barrett has been undergoing a multi-year
transformation designed to respond to changing consumer behaviours, increasing
demand for preventative health solutions and a rapidly evolving retail
landscape. To date, the business has invested more than £100m across
technology, digital platforms and operational systems, as part of a broader
investment of hundreds of millions of pounds in the business including in its
store estate and science-backed product innovation.
Vineta Bajaj, Chief Finance Officer at Holland &
Barrett, said: “We are delighted to be working with Barclays, further
strengthening our long-term relationship. This £25m revolving credit facility
is an important endorsement of our strategy and reflects the momentum and

business, supporting us across both strategic financing and our operational
banking, including in-store payment solutions. We look forward to continuing to
grow the relationship as we move into the next phase of our journey.”
The revolving credit facility further underlines Barclays’
continued confidence in Holland & Barrett’s strategy and long-term outlook,
providing the business with additional flexibility as it continues to grow and
adapt in line with customer needs.
