Holland & Barrett appoints Michelle Boothroyd as Chief People Officer

Holland & Barrett has appointed Michelle Boothroyd as Chief People Officer, joining the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Michelle will lead Holland & Barrett’s people strategy, with a focus on developing its culture, talent and capabilities and ensuring colleagues across the business are supported to learn, grow and thrive.

People and expertise are at the heart of Holland & Barrett’s approach to helping customers live better for longer. Store colleagues undertake extensive training to become qualified to advise customers, helping them navigate health and wellness with trusted, accessible support. Investing in colleagues’ knowledge, skills and development will be a key part of Michelle’s role as Holland & Barrett continues to build on more than 150 years of heritage and evolve into a lifelong health and wellness partner.

Michelle brings extensive experience in people leadership and organisational development, most recently as Chief People Officer at Grainger plc, following senior roles at Nationwide Building Society, Santander and NatWest Group.
