Holland & Barrett wins Retail Week’s Best New Store Award

Holland & Barrett has won The Best New Store Award – Small/Medium at the Retail Week Awards 2026, recognising its continued investment in evolving the in-store experience for customers.

The award for the Cardiff Experience Store reflects the company’s work to reimagine its stores as more engaging, accessible and inspiring spaces, carefully designed to support customers on their health and wellness journeys.

  • Delivering measurable impact for customers and communities, including higher customer spend, increased footfall and strong engagement from younger audiences

  •  Expanding access to preventative health and wellness services, from in-store health checks and blood testing to personalised wellbeing insights through partnerships such as Randox

  • Creating community-led wellbeing spaces, with initiatives including yoga, Pilates and events tackling topics like mental health and menopause

  • Investing in more sustainable stores, including the Cardiff experience store, built using 100% recyclable mild steel, FSC-certified wood and energy-efficient LED lighting to reduce environmental impact

Holland & Barrett’s evolving store concept focuses on creating a more modern retail experience, helping customers discover products, access expertise and feel supported in-store.
