Holland & Barrett, the leading health and wellness retailer, has heralded a new chapter in its 155-year history with the launch of its first domestically developed product line in Shanghai, officially introducing the 'Green Gold Bottle' series of products tailored for Chinese families.
Holland & Barrett’s expansion into China marks an integral part of its global transformation strategy, which has seen substantial investment into upgrading its stores across key territories, enhancing its digital experience, supply chain and global infrastructure, and technology — all anchored in its purpose to make health and wellness a way of life for everyone, adding quality years to life.

At the launch event, Holland & Barrett's International CEO Alex Dower, International Development Director Nick Parker, and Head of China David Feng Daming, were joined by UK Deputy HM Trade Commissioner for China Sohail Shaikh, China-Britain Business Council Consumer Economy Director Guo Ran, British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai Executive Director Stuart Dunn, Ole East Zone General Manager Tang Jia, Alibaba Health Food Industry General Manager Wang Hongmei, as well as leaders of Holland & Barrett’s Chinese partners, jointly witnessing this historic moment for the brand.
