Holland & Barrett, the UK’s leading health and wellness retailer, is adding over 300 new food lines to its offering for 2025, to make healthier eating easier. At the heart of the new launches, the retailer has extended its highly successful H&B Food range which will see over 90 new products, which have been curated by experts to further help customers achieve their personal and wellness goals and support healthier food choices in the new year.
The new range builds on the success of the ‘Food That Loves You Back’ collection, which debuted in September 2023 and saw incredible demand, with one H&B Manuka Honey product sold every five minutes* and a big increase in customer appetite for healthy snacks as well as dried fruit, nuts and seeds.
The new products will include naturally nutritious ingredients, everyday healthy swaps and foods bursting with additional benefits to support gut health, immunity, brain health, and joints, bones and muscles.
Making it easy to reset nutritional habits in 2025, highlights from the range include:
- On-trend superfoods: Shoppers will now find special blends of clinically studied ingredients, vitamins and minerals to add to daily smoothies, soups, salad dressings, or even a pancake mix! These packs feature various blends to support specific health needs, with unique powders featuring the hottest new wellness ingredients, such as Sea Moss, Baobab, Tremella and the trending Haskap Berry.
- Bold, nutritious and science-based teas: H&B is having a ‘tea moment’ and is introducing its very first range of teas. It has teamed up with tea experts from Sri Lanka to source and pack the finest organic ingredients. Alongside the backing of tea masters, nutritionists and scientists, H&B’s new teas feature an industry-first range of Tea “with benefits” to support brain health, immunity and more…
- Healthy snack alternatives: a new range of high protein treats, savoury nibbles with benefits, and high protein spreads to add into porridge or yoghurt also join the range. For a guilt-free snack moment, the High Protein Plant Puffs and the Spicy Chickpeas, are both high in fibre and offer over 6g of protein per serving. For a sweeter moment, the Peanut and Cocao Bites, Dark Chocolate Blueberries or Crisp N Crunch Peanut Butter are great ways to fit extra fibre or protein into the day.
- Nutritious breakfast bites: H&B has introduced 9 new lines including cereals “with Benefits”, as well as a 15 Plant Point Muesli, Granola and Porridge, all of which are high in protein and fibre and have no added sugar. The Muesli “with benefits” which supports joints, bones and muscles features a blend of gluten free oats, seeds and fruit with subtly spiced seed clusters, plus added Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin C and Vitamin D.
- Flour for all diets: If following a specialist diet, there’s no reason to miss out on a love for baking or baked treats. H&B’s new 12-strong line of gluten-free home baking ingredients caters to all customer diets, with the range including a first to the high-street Lupin flour, alongside Almond, Buckwheat, Plantain, Chickpea, Teff, Cassava and Oat flours.
- Store cupboard essentials: The store cupboard essentials range extends to feature new everyday healthy swaps, plant diversity and free-from choices. The range offers a twist on the household classics like the Multi Bean Baked Beans and provides a number of plant point healthy swaps with the 3 Plant Pasta and a 9 Plant Mexican Sauce – offering a healthier ‘fakeaway’ option to enjoy at home.
April Preston, Global Product Director, Holland & Barrett, comments: “After an indulgent Christmas, most of us are keen to kick-off the new year with healthy food intentions. At H&B, we believe healthy and nutritious food shouldn’t mean a compromise on delicious taste, and we’re excited to be able to bring even more choice to our customers with our expanding H&B Food range. Whether it’s increasing plants in your diet, upping your protein or supporting a specific health need, our customers can enjoy over 90 new products, packed with nutritional goodness.”
Healthier food is at the heart of H&B’s DNA – starting life as a local grocer’s over 150 years ago. The H&B Food range brings together the very best of the retailer’s heritage in nutrition with the latest thinking in healthy eating and culinary wizardry. To encourage customers to eat at least 30 different plants a week to support their overall wellbeing, all products in the H&B Food range feature plant points on the pack labelling – a high-street retailer first.
New products in the H&B Food range will be available in-store and online from 1st January 2025 nationwide.
